The following portfolios feature work by my students within each corresponding course. Introduction courses at the University of Arizona run for eight weeks and instructors teach two sections consecutively, while all other courses are sixteen weeks long. Work shown in the Letterpress portfolio is student work from workshops I taught for the School of Art in conjuction with The University of Arizona's Poetry Center and The Drawing Studio.

Space
(100-level Sculpture)

This portfolio features work by my students in Space, a foundations course in sculpture. Students complete two projects within the eight week course. The first is learning to work in a subtractive process with blue styrofoam, the second is to work in an additive process using wood. 

Design I

This portfolio features work of my students currently enrolled in Design I, a 200 level course in Design, at the University of Arizona. Over the sixteen week period students are taught the basics of design through projects that include simple logo development and design, as well as simple two dimensional print layout, book cover and label design. 

Amalgam
(100-level Mixed Media)

This portfolio features work by my students in Amalgam, a foundations course in mixed and multi media, at the University of Arizona. Students complete two projects within the eight week course. The first was a mixed media accordion book the second a group project in which student groups created an inflatable, interactive installation. 
 

Propaganda
(100-level Design and Illustration)

 

​​This portfolio features work by my students in Propaganda, a foundations course in design and illustration, at the University of Arizona. Students complete three projects. The first is using text as illustration, the second is an AdBusters type spoof ad, and the third is an illustration project using four specific distinct media.  


 

Letterpress


This portfolio features work by my students in various letterpress workshops taught through the University of Arizona's School of Art and the Poetry Center, as well as The Drawing Studio.
